When a new DUI law comes around it is usually against those convicted of DUI and is heralded as welcome change and saluted if it strips away the rights and privileges of citizens all in the name of punishing the drunk driver.  After all we as a society have become a generation of those who are incapable of forgiving or forgetting.  Last year the lawmakers got it right when they allowed some DUI offenders to get a restricted license for work purposes after a three month suspension and enrollment in a DUI education school.  This new law strips away that ability and now forces those to wait a full year without being able to drive to get to work or for any employment purpose or at all, for a full year.  Your comments please.
