The client was detained by police after a car crash where he was driving. The officers administered field sobriety tests and determined he was under the influence of alcohol.
A blood test was conducted at the hospital. The results of the testing were reported as .24 BAC, three times the legal limit in CA.
Matthew fought the case out of the Inglewood Court and ultimately threatened a motion to dismiss when the prosecution offered a plea to the reduced charges. The resolution saved his client from a mandatory license suspension, no SR-22, no jail, no community service, no mandatory 36 months probation, and no ignition interlock on his car was required.
